Mom was being confronted by various people about her hard core child abuse. And she and dad were talking, and dad tells her to "get into religion" as a way of dealing with her rageaholic meltdowns. Later dad would regret it. She started piddling around with some of the local christian churches. And eventually started listening to an outfit out of Pennsylvania who were old testament sacred and name. Doing the Jewish dietary laws. And the Jewish holidays. Which dad didn't like. So one day mom starts talking about her religion required her to submit to her husband. And dad saw his opportunity, and told her to "stop this foolishness". Meaning the type of religion she was into. And mom being mom wiggled out with some bizarre psycho bitch logic.
Totally unrelated story here. I heard a local hard core christian talking about mom and her rageaholic meltdowns. And local preachers and other hard core christians had provoked many beatings for me by confronting mom. Then just standing there and watching the beating. So one says to the other 2 or 3 times he is "having a crisis of faith". And the other guy would just look at him. I guess what could he say.
